My dad is a bit spoiled. You see, he always got something small (courtesy of my amazing mother) for each and every holiday. His Christmas stocking and Easter basket were always filled to the brim, and in addition, he got great stuff for Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and even the 4th of July. My father enjoyed every moment of the attention — and still does today. And since Father’s Day is an extra special holiday for my dad and yours, I’ve put together some cool and timely Father’s Day gift ideas for those of you who want a great gift for a great dad.
His Personal Father’s Day
In the tradition of gift ideas like naming a star or a piece of land for a loved one, the My Day Registry allows you to buy a day for your dad that celebrates the man he is. He’ll also receive a Certificate of Ownership for the day you choose and his own online profile which lets loved ones upload photos and video, and even dedicate music to dad.
Like a Rolling Stone
Give dad the gift of gaming and great music, all in one. The Rolling Stones Collector’s Edition of MONOPOLY® features great Rolling Stones albums including Sticky Fingers and Voodoo Lounge and lets dad and other players build their own music collections around the band’s repertoire. Game pieces are all Stones reminiscent, too, making for fun Father’s Day gift ideas for dads who love music.
The Old Standby with a New Twist
Great books are classic Father’s Day gift ideas, but if you’re going to buy a book, why not do it right? Gift dad with the Kindle, Wi-Fi, Graphite, 6″ Display with New E-Ink Pearl Technology, a smaller, sleeker version of the e-book favorite that comes with some great special offers and lots of new features. Dad can collect up to 3,500 books on the new Kindle… wow.
Bring the Grid Iron Home
If your dad’s a bit of an NFL fanatic, add some flair to his man-cave with a full-sized wall graphic of his favorite football hero. Whether he’s cheering for the Patriots or the Cowboys, the Broncos or the Browns, you’ll find these Father’s Day gift ideas bring the playing field indoors. Introduce dad to Joe Montana or Peyton Manning with a real-life game image that won’t hurt walls. He’ll love it!
Help Him Find His Way
If your dad fancies himself as a great outdoors man, I’ve got Father’s Day gift ideas he’ll adore. Consider the Freestyle Men’s The Nomad Watch which includes an altimeter, barometer, and compass. A survivalist watch with a stylish design, the Freestyle watch is a great tool for dad’s next great adventure.
I guess I’d better wrap this writing up now. My father just called to remind me that we’ve got a dinner date coming up in mid-June… hint, hint. I suppose I need to make a decision soon, and I’m so glad there’s so much to choose from this year. Why don’t you join me this year and spoil your own dad with one of these Father’s Day gift ideas? If he is anything at all like my dad, any gift you choose will only be a small token compared to everything he’s done for you.
